Your Independence

Our clients have an overwhelming desire to stay in their OWN home as they get older. Our goal is to assist and support the activities of daily living (ADLs) which in turn allow for Freedom and Independence for our clients.

ADLs are basic activities and functions performed on a daily basis by all of us.
ADLs are:

  • Eating
  • Dressing
  • Bathing
  • Toileting
  • Ambulation (Walking)
  • Taking Medication
  • Grooming

The above list of daily activities are supported by some of the following:

  • Transportation
  • Meal Preparation
  • Household Chores
  • Shopping
  • Help With Errands
  • Transferring
  • Medication Reminders

If any one of these abilities are impaired or restricted, it can cause a cascade of issues and barriers for an individual wanting to live independently.
